Electric Light Orchestra frontman Jeff Lynne has announced the band’s final live show, scheduled for July 13, 2025, at London’s BST Hyde Park.
“My return to touring began at Hyde Park in 2014. It seems like the perfect place to do our final show,“ Lynne said in a statement shared to social media. ”We couldn‘t be more excited to share this special night in London with our UK fans. As the song goes, ’we’re gonna do it One More Time!’”
For ELO fans, this final concert is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If you’ve ever wanted to sing along to “Mr. Blue Sky” in a sea of thousands, this is your last chance.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 25 at 4 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster.
Tickets are also available on secondary market platforms such as Vivid Seats, StubHub and Viagogo, which offer verified tickets with buyer guarantees, even after sellout.
The band is currently on a U.S. farewell tour, the “Over and Out Tour.” It kicked off in August in Palm Desert, California, and will conclude with a rescheduled show on October 29 in Phoenix, Arizona.
ELO was formed in 1970 in Birmingham, England, by Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood. Their early hits, such as “Livin’ Thing,” “Mr. Blue Sky,” and “Telephone Line,” became anthems of the 70s and 80s.
Co-founder Roy Wood left shortly after their formation, leaving Lynne to lead the band. After a brief hiatus in the 80s, Lynne revived ELO in 2014 under the name Jeff Lynne’s ELO.
In 2017, ELO was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
